About Me
Hello and welcome to my Full stack Web Development portfolio website! My name is Georgia Treu, and I’m currently studying full stack web development. This site is a place where I will showcase my projects, assignments, and growing web development skills. This site will represent my learning journey in this course. I’ve always been fascinated by how websites work behind the scenes. How a simple idea can turn into a fully functional application that people rely on every day. I am especially interested in how the backend and frontend work together to create a complete application. I am a detail oriented person who likes to deep dive into topics. I feel this skill is well suited for software development. I hope to use these skills to obtain a job as a software developer.
Outside of school, I’m passionate about fitness, family, gaming, and learning new skills. I enjoy tracking my workouts, experimenting with new routines, and finding ways to stay motivated. Family is very important to me and most of my time outside of work and school is spent with my family and friends. I currently work a full time job and have very little time between work, school and family to do anything else. I am working hard to complete my degree in Computer Information Systems as I hope to obtain a better work life balance by entering into the technology field and am excited to be over half way finished with my degree. I am looking forward to having more time to play online and tabletop games with friends, as well as do more outdoor activities with my family.
I believe that technology can empower people to improve their lives. Now more than ever, I believe that it is important to understand how technology is used in our lives. Having an understanding of technology can help protect your information and make life easier by utilizing helpful tools. As I continue learning, I hope to build tools that are both helpful and enjoyable to use.
